Night Owl Farm
Night Owl Farm has approximately 4 acres heritage orchard, consisting of both apple and pear trees, planted by the original farmers. The heritage orchard presently produces upwards of a four tons of apples annually.
Our handy farmers and family friends come out around Thanksgiving weekend and give us a hand apple picking. We see it as group bonding, and by the end of the weekend our backs are sore, but the trees are much lighter than they were the week before.
There are two varieties of apples grown on the farm, and when juiced they produce a not-too-tart and not-too-sweet juice that is lovely on a warm fall day, or heated up in mulled cider for the holiday season.
We juice our apples on island, at a nearby private facility that ensures they are pasteurized and safe for all to enjoy. Frozen juice is available for sale; sold in 2L jugs. If you're interested, give us a call, or contact us via our 'Contact Us' page, to arrange purchasing and pick-up of apple juice.
